Dr. Jenny Sun Pan(previously known as Dr. Jenny Sun Tjahjono) obtained her Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Sciences at the University of California in Irvine and her D.M.D. from Harvard School of Dental Medicine. From ten years in Boston, she worked as the dental director at the Geiger Gibson Community Health Center and Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program. In 2009, she joined Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine (WesternU CDM) where she served as the Clinical Managing Partner in 2009 and as the Associate Dean for Community Partnerships and Access to Care in 2016. At WesternU CDM, she focused her research, publication, and presentation incommunity dentistry, Interprofessional Education, and Interprofessional Collaborative Practice (IPCP). Through designing and implementing the IPCP curriculum, she was appointed as the adjunct faculty at the Family Medicine Residency Program and Urgent Care Fellowship in Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in 2016. In April 2020, she will return to her grassroots and assume the position as the Dental Director at UMMA Community Clinic to serve the disadvantaged population.
